My Journey to Better Health
Hi I'm Suzi! 
I am a diet and health enthusiast in my early 50s searching for better products and a better palate to attain better health. It wasn’t always that way. Over 6 years ago my health started to show a rapid decline. For months, I was so drained I couldn’t even enjoy walking my two large dogs. This was a big indication of my health decline, since I used to run these dogs 3 times a day.

Another indication was when I went to donate blood and was rejected because of high liver enzymes (285). After blood tests, the doctor said my liver was failing, I was borderline diabetic, and my cholesterol was off the charts. I suffered from constipation, had headaches all the time, and was gaining weight rapidly. I THOUGHT I WAS DYING! The doctors did not seem to know what to do, really. They would not give me any drugs at that time, due to my high liver enzymes.

I searched far and wide for a solution, but I could not find it in modern medicine. Frustrated with the lack of answers, I took things into my own hands and began doing my own research on a variety of different diet plans to regain my health, naturally.
My ultimate findings boiled down to the old Hippocrates statement, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine by thy food.” I grew up on a farm eating natural, homegrown foods, what we now call Organic. Then, when I got married I started buying food from the grocery stores and eating fast food - thinking food is food. Well 30 years later, my body was very sick! I did not understand what the industry was doing to our soil, GMOs, with additives and preservatives to most of our food. I found from substantial research, that virtually every known health problem was due to some form of dietary deficiency.
A great part of my health concern was also due to my mother dying at age 51 with heart complications from diabetes. I was 47 when my unhealthy symptoms raised their ugly head, and I looked into several diet plans regarding diabetes and heart disease and weight loss.

After months of deciphering diet plan after diet plan, I finally started losing weight and feeling better. My triglycerides were at a normal level, the constipation was gone, and my liver enzymes were lower. This led me to focus my energy on finding resources about natural whole foods, organic supplements, and healthy household products. During part of my research I came across a homeopathic (natural) doctor for help. This doctor helped me to get off sugar and Splenda sweetener, which he said created the liver problem. He had me do a colon and liver cleanse and gave me natural supplements to help with digestion. Even thought I was following a good diet plan, it wasn't working for me because my digestive system was not so out of whack. The education of "the cleanse" helped me to understand how pesticides, herbicides, and household toxins affect the digestive system. He said, "If the gut isn't working correctly, the weight will not come off, and other medical issues will arise." My research continued in learning about the benefits of Organics and the downfalls of GMOs. This was an eye-opener for me - So my journey began in achieving better health, through better products and a better palate.
You have the potential to transform your health, just as it transformed mine. As part of my research, I discovered some very good diet plans and household products that will provide better health for you. Remember, not one diet is made for everyone. We are all differently made and have different palates. I took a lot of the guess work out to get you healthier, faster.
